According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl. We should've known.

ONLY women would be able to drag a fat-arse man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.

:D

Have a safe and Happy Holidays everybody!

Everyone knows that flying reindeer don't drop their antlers, they keep them year round.

Only guys would go and wait until the last night to try to give all the presents out.

Males gotta dump em and start on new ones, because the old pnes are all broken and beat up after fightin' over the ladies. Since Santa's reindeer don't seem beat up and still have antlers, they're probably not GUYS.
On the other hand, there's never been any mention of offspring either, so they're probably not GIRLS.

I'm guessing they WERE Guys, but they've been "chopped" and fall in the category of Steers or Geldings (no idea what you call it in a deer). That might explain the light feet they so obviously need to fly.
:rolling: :giggle: :stooges: :moose:

I don't care if they are male or female. All that matters is when does the season open, can I get close enough to drop it with my bow, what is the best way to prepare it, and is it appropriate to use the red nose as a garnish. :D

ScubaFishee once bubbled...

But would they stop and ask for directions if Santa gets lost?

When I looked up and say Santa's sleigh, the reindeer didn't have antlers. What does that mean?

Maybe Bubba Claus with his coon dogs pulling the sleigh came to your house that year.

... at least Vixen has to be female. Otherwise, with a name like that, Santa might have even bigger issues going on with that reindeer herd of his.
