My wife has had the vomiting problem on most every dive but she claims it's a reaction to having the wetsuit around her neck. She rarely dives so, sadly, there's no chance she'll overcome the issue in the foreseeable future.
A friend who also exhibited the "breakfast in the sea" symptoms had, upon post-dive inspection, regs that smelled of cleaning agent. I reminded him that they should only smell of air.
