Fingers crossed Atomic makes the 2nd stages available soon, and then you can borrow mine, no problem...
I’d guess it will be a while if the supply of the complete TFX regs stays as tight as it seems to be. I’m sure they’d rather first sell as many of the more expensive full reg than just the 2nd stage (which will likely give folks sticker shock as well).

Rent them! You will recover your investment quickly 😜

It will be on the "Never never plan", never to be seen again and never to be returned.
Five finger discount price.

Back on topic: Watched Robs YouTube, fantastic, though I am a slow learner and will have to watch it again to 'take in' all [ I am dreaming, all , 50% and I will be happy] that info.

This will announce the next in our little series of evening discussions about regulator minutia.
Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Pacific Daylight Time (9:30 to 11:30pm Eastern).

Or open up Zoom and enter Meeting ID 874 8458 5294 and Passcode 6054

We'll talk endlessly about center balanced second stages, starting with the venerable Scubapro Pilot and finishing with the last regulator you'll ever need to buy: the Atomic TFX. You know the drill by now. We'll probably run overtime. And when you give up because it's getting too late? I'll post the link here later to a YouTube recording.

Cheers!
Loved the series. I have been using the 350/400 since the 90s with thousands of dives on them. All of my student rigs are Mk20or25/D400s.
I just added this very nice original Pilot to my collection today.
Gotta tune it and would love to talk to Rob about that. I probably have parts in a bin somewhere.
