Atomic M1's for backgas.

Scubapro MK25/S600 or Diverite RG2500's for stage bottles

Diverite Hurricane's for sidemount.

Hey I don't see Poseidon on the list. How can I vote for the best regs out there?

And apropos of nothing, Atomic is testing a regulator for arctic/anarctic diving. ... and arctic/anarctic expedition regulator and other "hush hush" stuff that he wouldn't divulge.
I wonder if it'll be a dry sealed diaphragm like the MK17 and Apeks, etc.

What Atomic should also consider are regs that are compatible with 100% O2.

OK, shall we start a new poll between:
-Apeks
-Atomic
-Aqualung
-Scubapro

It would be interesting to find out about this hush-hush regulator project. I asked the Atomic head cheese why he would prefer piston over diaphram given the lesser chance of corrosion and easier environmental seal of the diaphram. He said that he prefers the ease of breathing both at depth and when tank pressure runs low.

The M1 is good up to 80% Nitrox. I can't imagine it would be difficult for Atomic to modify it to go 100% O2. Dean said that they made a prototype called the M5 which was made out of 100% monel stainless steel. That bad boy would be the cat's meow and it would definitely cost a pretty penny.
