Hi to all,

Not been diving with my own kit for the last few years and wondered how long it takes to get a set of apex regs serviced and what they may need done/cost as they have just sat in a box in the house and then garage for the last five years or so.

Many Thanks

Andy

Service times depend on the shop, 1 to 2 weeks is average

Not serviced in 5 years, I would have them overhauled
approx cost $60 labor, $50 parts, the 1st stage parts kit is expensive, about $32.00 retail, so $110.00 per reg overhaul

Lots of variation in service prices, so get that settled and avoid surprises. You'll find $40 to $100+ for labor plus parts. If you are not comfortable with local providers, there are a number of online service providers with excellent reputations.

1st stage parts can be found for $30-35, 2nd stage parts for $12-15 and it can be done in few hours. I don't know about labor price. 5 years in garage - all o-rings should be replaced.
