I have done two snorkel trips to Molokini / turtle town with Maui Dive Shop, as well as an intro dive last year. My experience was great. Their boat crews were very friendly and interacted with the passengers to make it a very rewarding experience.

The intro dive ended up being one-on-one since my wife chickened out once we got to the beach. They were nice enough to provide pretty much a full refund for her dive fee. The instructor was very knowledgeable and provided a great experience for me the whole time (2 tanks).

I certainly would recommend them at least for snorkeling trips or intro dives. I may try them for a real dive this year since I'll be certified when I get there. :out:

I did the class and confined water in Sacramento, CA last July, and then the OW over two mornings at Kihei in early August with an instructor recommended by Ed Robinson's. It worked out extremely well, and I recommend doing it this way. There was plenty of excellent diving, even during the two days of the OW shore diving. Tons of turtles, great reefs, and even a few reef sharks!

Hi there,

I did my cert. with Maui Dreams Dive Co. Racheal and Don the owners are very nice and very good at what they do. They are a 5 star padi shop. I'm not sure who does SSI certs.

It should only take you a couple of days and it's fun. Just do it......

Good luck and have fun.

Simon
