I do't like to bash equipment, but I WOULD not recomend it. If you plan on relying on your reel, that is NOT the one to get. I have seen them break too often.

I don't think you're bashing it. I appreciate your feedback. The downside, I just bought one from a guy on ebay. The upside, it was pretty cheap (no doubt for a reason). Oh well, live and learn. I think what I really need is a spool.

After poking around in the LDS awhile, I bought another, larger oms reel. I was pretty happy with the smaller one so I fugured, why not. Thanks for the input.
