Thanks, s-bunny!
I'm all packed and ready to go. Looking at the weather maps on the web and right at the moment, Chantal is headed over the SE coast of Cuba and north of the Bay Islands, where Chris and I are headed. Winds have picked up to 13mph near La Ceiba - I don't know what that translates to in waves.
I guess I'm not afraid of something like that Humphrey Bogard movie (Key Largo?) or The Perfect Storm, but maybe just getting shut outta diving. We're talking BOW cert blowing in the breeze right now.
Reuters - The storm was out to sea about 280 miles southwest of Kingston, Jamaica, and was expected to keeping heading west toward Mexico's Yucatan peninsula or the Gulf of Mexico, the National Hurricane Center in Miami said.
Maybe I should be worried about high ground...
