CA Diver:Dove at Crescent (Deadmans) in LAguna Beach yesterday and IT's BAAAAAK! REd tide on the swim out to Deadmans. Once below about 15 to 20 feet the viz opened up to about 10 ti 15 feet.
divebuddysean:Last dive at LJS last Wed or Thursday had a lot of red tide. I noticed on my drive up to Monterey there was red tide in Santa Barbara... I'll be checking out Monastery Beach tomorrow and I'll post next time I'm on the net...
The temps should be going down and killing off the algae right? I was saddened to see the tide being back so thick... "This too shall pass..."
JDog:This year kind of sucks compaired to last year- as a matter of fact I don't even recall any red tide issues last year. Does anyone remember this much this long?
