Red sea wrecks in danger?

Having just got off the areoplane home from sharm not 12 hours ago, I thought I'd pop in here and see if anyone had heard rumours along the same line I heard whilst in Na'ama over the last 2 weeks.
The rumor I heard from a brit working in Sharm in the diving sector has been hearing stories about an american wh is slowly buying up the rights (salvage) for numerous red sea wrecks with the purpose of moving them, or parts of them, to the new museum being built not far from Sharks bay.
Thistlegom is safe apparently as the gouvernment considers it too much of a money spinner to remove from its current location, but numerous others may well be under threat.
Has anyone else heard simular mutterings or can confirm or sink these potentially disasterous plans?
(Heres hoping its just misinterpreted stories, but you never can tell....)

These are old plans that have never been in action. The American investor and the museum thing are new though.

From time to time these plans just pop to the surface then nothing happens. Some cutting work was done to a wreck in Nabq (between Sharm and Dahab. I think it was the Million Hope) because she was unstable and her structure was falling apart.
