Has anyone been to Red Granite Quarry not too long ago? I hear the visibility improves quite a bit on the shallow end this time of year and from the sounds of it, it seems like there is alot of life in that place.

Try Wisconsin scuba board. They have a regular thread on it. Look in Local Diving.

Do you have an link I can user? I must be blind...

I dove the quarry on Saturday. Divers Realm, a shop from Appleton, WI sponsored a Project Aware clean up project. About 20 divers removed around 400 lbs. of junk for the quarry and surrounding area.

Anyway, viz was not good, but what we expect this time of year. Best was around 8 ft. Temp above thermocline 64 f.
