Recommended sites January

Hi everyone,

I'll be in the phillipines in the last 2 weeks of January. I've read about Malapascua and Sogod bay. Are there other must dive spots to choose from? About Malapascua are there just a couple of sites with little coral or is this the norm? Thanks for advising us.

Monad Shoal at Malapascua is indeed barren and if the thrasher shark does not show up......
However, other sites around Malapascua and Sogod Bay offer vibrant underwater kaleidoscope.
Sogod Bay is slightly more difficult to get to BUT worth the effort.
Two weeks in these two places is probably NOT enough!!!!

thanks for the heads up centrals, one week in each place, not enough? I'm planning to try two places in that amount of time but no more to avoid hassle with transport. Anyone else care to comment?
