The Kata Villa also has a swimming pool and is nicely located across the road from the southern end of Karon beach, so the family can chill on the beach and snorkel along the house reef . If you do not want to spend the entire day out on a daytrip away from the family, there are a dive sites within minutes from the beach. These trips are conducted off the longtail boats and take a couple of hours in all.
There are also other bungalow options opposite Kata Beach within seconds from the beach which are also very nice but the bungalow operators do not book over the internet etc. If you want to know more please feel welcome to PM me.
