Yes, we use the Scubapro Glide Pro w/ an AIR II in our rental and training.

It is our most popular B.C.

Any thoughts on the Cressi Lite for travelkling convenience?

So, the Air 2 eliminates the need for an octopus, right?

Correct. This also means that YOU would use the Air2 during a buddy OOA as you donate your primary to the other diver. It's near impossible to donate the Air2 and you will also need to get the length of the inflator hose just right so you can still move your head while using the Air2. If it's too short, your head will be locked in place and very uncomfortable for the time it takes you to get to the surface.

Is there any particular reason to buy a brand new BCD, versus a used one? Because you can save quite a bit of money buying a used one.

On a new BCD, I presume there's a warranty. Does anyone here have experience of having used the warranty on their BCD?

I am in the market for a new bcd also Matt

I was told that the main thing to look for, is where you want to go in the sport. For me, I want to do an overhead icedive in about 10 years. Hopefully on the North coast of Labrador, so I am buying the bc now, that I will be using then.

I have read a few of your posts, but i do not remember what your plans for diving are, but that is what you should keep in mind

I am really not sure how comfortable I would be using the OCTO Z in an OOA, I think I would keep the octo z on the bc you have picked, but still get a alt as well. Since the octo z takes up no extra room, than a standard inflator, I would prefer to have a longer hose alt too. You can never have enough redundancy.

I want to go under water. :)

I don't know what octo z is. But I already have decided not to get the Air 2 on my Scuba Pro Glide, since I like the alternate air source to be long.
