I had a great experience with American Pro two weeks ago. Did the Crystal River Manatee Swim and Kings Spring Dive, Rainbow River Drift Dive and Homosassa Manatee Swim. I also did the Manatee Specialty to learn more about these wonderful creatures.

I found American Pro very professional and their guides very pleasant, capable, knowledgeable and respectful of the animals.

The best advice is probably to go on a weekday if possible and definitely go early.

Have Fun!

We are going this weekend, we will post a manatee report on Monday. It's been cold here all week so we are hoping Three Sisters is a parking lot (of manatees, not people). :D

I have been only one time but asked around to find Birds Underwater.

I had to dig up old phone numbers and make phone calls "You might not remember me but we dove on ____. Can you recommend---

SCUBABOARD makes all that seem prehistoric now. Click type CLick and you have expert locals from all over the world.

Anyone remember the outfit over there with all the hoopla of molesting the Tees' on video??

The manatees are hugged in tight at Three Sisters in Crystal River. I just took a group out & counted over 100 there. Weekdays, early mornings , are the VERY best to avoid the crowds. Saturdays are horribly crowded,, Sundays not quite as bad.

I think it was American Pro Dive

Just make sure you go with an outfit who allows the Tee's to decide if they want to interact.

NOT like this place
