If you want a small, compact SMB, the DSS one takes the cake. It has a different kind of OPV from other SMBs, so it can roll up really flat. The bag itself is tapered, so although it is a meter tall, it requires much less air to inflate. For tropical water, it's an excellent bag. (I prefer a different kind of oral inflator for very cold water.)

Which inflator do you prefer for cold water? I love my DSS SMB, but at the end of a winter time dive it's a pain to inflate when my face is numb, but I don't think the H one is any easier.

For the diving I do, I prefer the larger ones. If you look at the clip you'll see why.
It's drift diving and I like the boat crew to know where I am as soon as possible. I shoot the larger ones when I leave the bottom. (Below 40 ft). I keep a little 6 # 1 M on a spool as well.
