Thanks for the replies. Can any of these options be folded down and packed in luggage or do you use them as one of the allowed carry-on's for your camera gear when traveling?

Yes, I only check 1 bag in when I dive travel. That bag will last me for a month long trip and I include all my dive gear (including 5 mm suit!), my toiletries, and my clothing in there with the exception of my primary mask and dive computer/backup dive computer. I put in the AO cooler on top, flattened, after smashing it and getting the air out . I travel with my camera gear in a dedicated photo roller.
