I have an older Zeagle Tech BCD that has a failing inflator mechanism (it is leaking out of the add air button). I am going to replace the inflator mechanism (repairs have already been attempted) and I am looking for a recommendation.

Which BCD inflators are recommended and which should I stay away from? Should I stay with a Zeagle inflator or should I go with another brand?

Thanks for the input.

Cheers,
Nairn

Has it been serviced by your dealer? There is a very inexpensive service kit that will basically replace all the internal moving parts and should make it as good as new!

Thanks,

Scott

You may consider go for BPW

I would either replace it with a stock zeagle inflator or an OMS inflator. I like them both, i prefer the OMS over the zeagle but thats probably because its my daily diving rig. Im not sure about prices on each.

Dont go ScubaPro though, i cants stand their inflators.

That is SOOOOOOOOOOO Scubaboard! :D

I got a new Zeagle one on eBay for about $15. Of course I'll DIE for buying "life support equipment" on eBay.
