Recent scuba deaths on Roatán - update?

My wife and I were diving in Roatan for two weeks during the time this incident occurred. The rumor among the dive guides was that the diver pannicked and bolted for the surface. The DM tried to catch the diver and both died as a result. I didn't hear any more details than that.

there hasn't been anything new in terms of info or conclusions

i was there approximately two weeks after the accident, and didn't ask
any questions (seemed ghoulish). the only thing i heard contradicts
some versions, and it's that the diver went too deep, the dive master
went down to get him, and both died as a result.

this is all conjecture. there were no witnesses, it appears
 
Thanks for the links, guys. I was in Copán Ruinas at the time, then got word one of our sons was in a serious car accident back in Oregon so returned as quickly as possible; not much else on my mind for weeks, so missed this entirely.
 
I dove with Tulio's brother Marcos, and he didn't think it was "going too deep" that killed his brother.
 
i had someone contradict the story i heard almost immediately

in fact, someone said that was the ONLY version they hadn't heard
