Sounds like it may be too close to the valve for a patch. Give it a try with Aquaseal but don't get it where it will interfere with the valve installation. You may want to do a search. I remember seeing a post on such a repair from Uncle Pug. I believe he talked about taping one side of the hole to limit the AS flow and then worked it into the hole from the other side. Don't forget to Cotol to clean the area well and speed up the curing process. Try to avoid any buildup where the valve has to seat and seal on the bladder.
 
I cannot find that thread. anyone? I will try to patch it and see. Which aquaseal product should I use?
