Hey all,

Any rebreather friendly charters in the general Fort Lauderdale - Pompano - West Palm area? Have 2-3 days to kill in the area in January and was thinking of brining the unit. Not much to be found online for ops that rent bottels and have scrubber.

Thanks!

South Florida Diving Headquarters is generally the go-to for tech divers in the Pampano area and is very rebreather friendly. Hydrotherapy Dive Charters is also solid (they’ve had some boat issues lately but hopefully will be back to normal operations come January).

As far as renting tanks for CCR goes, I’d recommend reaching out to Jimmy Gadomski via instagram (@fl_tekdiver).

Aside from South Florida which is a larger company you can also check out Aqualife which is my favorite and includes free beer! Tell owner/operator Skip I sent you.

You can also dive rebreather on Parrot Island and Dixie Divers in Pompano. Heading farther north to nicer reefs check out Starfish Scuba in Boynton which is rebreather friendly and about 25-30 minutes from Pompano. Tell Chris (owner/operator) that I sent you :)

Depends what unit you dive, but easy to get carts and sorb and probably bottles.
