Reasonably priced STA for older Dive Rite AL backplate?

I made the mistake of not looking carefully enough at the E-Bay auction I recently won. I bid on a Dive Rite aluminium backplate and harness. I forgot to look to see if this was one manufactured after they cut the tank strap holes in it or not.

It arrived today and it does not have the tank strap holes so I need to buy a STA. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced STA for this backplate?

About to partially enter the world of BP/W (if you don't count a soft BackPack like my X-Tek as a BP/W!). I'll still be diving a lot with my X-Tek which I love.

With a drill and a jig saw, you could put the slots just where you would like them.

Send me a sketch of what you want and what you think a reasonable price is and let's see what we can work out . . .

. . . or do like AWAP said, take a pencil, lay out where you want your slots, drill a hole at each end with the same diameter as the slot width, and then cut out the slot with a jig saw. It's pretty easy to cut aluminum with a bi-metal blade in your jig saw.

I too have one of those older plates hanging about (i think) and a metal STA that goes with it. I use a plastic DR STA with my other AL and SS BP's so i can swap back and forth with doubles and singles on. If i can find the STA i can mail it to you if you pay shipping, PM me regarding it.
