Just to remind everyone, I will be at Casino Point this Saturday to do a re-evaluation of those students that have previously earned a provisional rating during their initial DIR-F class. I will be on the 6:15am boat heading over to Catalina and will return on the 3:45 so please plan accordingly.

PM me if you have any questions, but since I was out of the water for a while I'm confident you've all been practising so this should be a breeze ;-)

BTW, congratulations to Bryce Thompson, Dave Watson & Rick Guerin ( notice the 1st three letters of his last name ;-) ) who all rechecked this weekend and have now passed the DIR-F class.

Regards,

Thanks, Michael. It was an definitely a challenging and enriching experience.

Actually, the name people should take note of is Bryce Thompson; a very impressive young man and a very solid diver. Did I understand correctly that he has the distinction of being the youngest GUE diver ?

Bryce actually has one of the best Work/Study gigs going for an avid & aspiring Cave/Tech Diver: a job/apprenticeship at Extreme Exposure in High Springs, and acceptance for admission to the University of Florida at Gainesville.

Kudos and Congrats --actually more so than for anything so trivial such as DIR Diving in comparison-- for getting into College!!!

Take a guess on his age . . .graduated from High School and now Freshman College Prep???
