Well, I would if it weren't for the fact I will be in Hawaii.......

Only thing I've seen is the 'Dive Fest' on the Lake Rawlings website (in the pop-up on their homepage). Cutting and pasting below. Nothing specific about PADI.

I doubt I'll make it, but we'll see :)

suspended that weekend

Events Include:

Scavanger Hunts

Saturday 2pm Children, 4pm Adults 8:30pm Night

Treasure Hunt

Sunday 10am

Prizes Include: Wetsuits, BDCs, Tanks, Masks, and much much more!

I was considering diving the Indra that weekend as my first ocean dive, but I may change my plans and do Rawlings just to meet a few people from the board.

according to the padi website, it is a padi society dive fest. i talked to scott at rawlings today and it sounds like you pay an extra $15 to dive for prizes (by gathering golf balls, like the bluestone treasure hunt in oct), but you don't have to. according to the padi page, you can get three free fills that day *or* a tshirt. i'll likely be there, but don't know if i'll do the 'society' thing or not.

I wonder if they need help 'driving' the golf balls in to the lake :D

i probably couldn't even do that. jason, what day is better for you? either sat or sun is fine with me - or both. do you want to see about camping? or go for a day?

Sat would be best for me Marci. What time you think?
