Saw this on facebook, and must admit I'm a little excited. Hopefully Dixie Divers or some other charter that has the coordinates will be willing to take sightseers to the site soon.

Dive team repairing ill-fated Easter Island-inspired scuba site
Heads up: The city might have a one-of-a-kind dive attraction after all.

A team of scuba divers has been able to right two of the 15 Easter Island head replicas that plunged the wrong way into the sea last June.

Saturday, 14 volunteers dove for the 14th time since October, determined to restore the upended art-as-artificial-reef project known as Rapa Nui.

"We're making a beautiful dive setting right now," he said. "We think there's five [heads] that over time we can get."

i wish all the best to those who try.......keep up the good work after such a disaster.

This site doesn't interest me but, SoFlo Dive Hq has in on their schedule if interested.
