Went to beautiful Lake Tahoe this weekend. Needed fills. Got fills at Tropical Penguin. Brought six tanks total, and one was late on hydro (they called me while we were waiting the hour and a half that they said they would take to fill our tanks. The shop where we rented them from will hear about this tomorrow.), so I asked for only four to be filled.They tried to convince me to fill all five that were good, but I said no thanks, as we needed them in pairs because there were two of us diving and a fifth tank would be a waste. Okay fine. Pick them up, and three out of four tanks were filled. Of course we did not discover that until our night dive after returning to the Lake that evening. The tanks that were filled were short, at about 2500. I was very upset, after getting ripped off. In fact I still am. Anyone that goes to that place beware. Check your fills before leaving that shop and if at all possible, go somewhere else. No wonder they weren't busy.
