Ranger LTD Tank band Problems

I recently purchased a Ranger LTD BC from Leasure Pro. I love the BC, but cannot figure out the tank holder bands. I strap on the tank, and it slides out of the sinch nomatter what I due. I try to follow the illustration on the side of the molded piece, but no good so far.

I know the system works and this is TOTALLY operator error, that's why I'm reaching out to you....

Is there an illustration, or can someone point me in the direction of a link that will explain the "looping system" better.
