Actually, I use that 50 feet of shore line that my Instructor asked me to fetch.

Yep, no problem. My old Halcyon weight pouches have the broom stick thickness handle, and it hooks under the lower part. The handle is fully exposed and the weight pouch comes out through the loop in the hose.

Good morning Campana,

Works great with a Halcyon weight pouch because they pull out the front....

Since the original poster was asking what length long hose to use with the Ranger I thought that is what you had and were recommending.

As you know the Ranger dumps out the bottom....
I was wondering if that might catch the long hose and either prevent the weight from falling or if it did fall, pull the reg from your mouth....
