If RADL doesn't work, you can try either Papua Paradise or Papua Explorers. Both are excellent. We'll be staying at Papua Paradise again before our Kaimana-Sorong trip.
How long were the boat rides from So-wrong?

Sucking on exhaust doesnt sound like a great way to start a vacation.
My recollection is two and half hours to Papua Explorers, less than two hours to Papua Paradise.
Papua Paradise looks interesting. Unfortunately it’s unavailable for Dec 2-5.
That sounds like an intense couple of days Dan haha. If it isnt too much trouble, go ahead and ask what he can do for a couple days. Nothing wrong with getting some info. I have also looked into a couple places on Lembongon for a few nights (spelling?). Blue Hill also looks tempting in Tulamben.
The places near Sorong look amazing, but $1500 for three nights is a little out of my budget.
reuben- the fumes comment was in response to Dan's opinion of Jakarta, though I didnt make that overly clear.
