While I like the idea of a Research and Development forum it's actually spelled development not developement.

Actually developement (4 e's total) is a perfectly valid spelling in some parts of the world.

It's not in the Merriam-Webster. It is, however, in the OED. I googled it, it seems a lot of people use developement once, and development the next time.

This is kind of like spelled and spelt and learned and learnt.
