I have just purchased a Quicksliver 4/3 Syncro chest zip. this is my first wetsuit. Its main purpose is to use for my jet ski during the winter.

I do have a couple of questions.

When first putting it on I played hell getting it over my arms and shoulders. It seemed very tight and was sticking to my skin. It's an XLS, The arms are a bit long but the legs seem ok.
I then put on a set of nylon long underwear and then put the suit on. This turned out to be much easier and seemed to be a good fit. A little tight in the chest and biceps.

Question 1
I know there are rash guards that will help would they be better than the nylon underwear?

Question 2
The suit is good for 50 degrees. Can I lower that temp by wearing something under it? How much lower?
With skiing I'm not getting wet other than a spray. If I do fall off I would be right back on the ski so 38 to 40 degree water should be fine. But if I want to dive in it the thermocline on the bigger lakes here can get down to 38 or so.

I have 3/2 synchro. Rash guard or dive skin will definitely help getting it on and off. The suit will have more stretch once it’s wet and worn for a bit. I don’t know if it’ll be warm enough for diving in cooler water because you’ll be completely immersed for a while as opposed to surface water sports, where the immersion is quick.

I found a used unisex sharkskin chill proof I think I will get. Looks like it will work by its self at moderate temps and will help a lot under the syncro, if it's not too thick.
