Questions for Gilboa Regulars who are car buffs.

For scripting and titling purposes for the Gilboa video "Relive the Memory", I need the make, model, and year of three vehicles in the quarry: The car nearest #3 staging platform, the car farther south of that (I think) and the pickup truck (Not the yellow snorkel truck, but the other pickup) I'm not a car buff so I don't have a clue, and Mike isn't sure. Com'on now Brian, don't let me down. How about it Amber? Steve, I know you know this. Amber, if you don't know, ask Tim if he knows. NotsoKen, where are you when I need you? Gee, I feel like a trivia game show host.:lol:

Sorry, but I'm not much of a car buff. I didn't even realize it was a Mustang I t-boned on the way back from the last time I went up to White Star! Ber had to tell me what it was (you can read all about it in a trip report in the GLWC forum!). I still think it was the chintziest looking excuse for a Mustang I ever saw!

Ber had to tell me what it was (you can read all about it in a trip report in the GLWC forum!). I still think it was the chintziest looking excuse for a Mustang I ever saw!

Well the next time you dive, Ken, fin on over to that car behind the jet and see if you can find any clues as to what make it is; Ford? Chevy? etc.

Isn't one of the cars a Ford LTD-type vehicle? {my memory is fuzzy though and I stopped paying attention a long time ago}

I think the VW bus is in there somewhere, but you've probably figured that one out already.

I'll be up there Sunday but I have two open water divers so I'll try to remember to look. Naturally you don't want the one I might know, I believe the snorkel truck is a Chevy

It could be. If anyone is diving there this weekend, check out these vehicles more closely and post here what you discover. I'll be in Myrtle Beach for the week, and will will look for your answers when I get back. I didn't realize that I would need to name these vehicles until I started writing the script, so I didn't pay any attention to them either while taping. A Ford LTD? sounds good to me, but I would like to know for sure. If you should decide to take this mission, much kudos from me.

Should we call in Chatterton and Kohler to solve this? Unfortunatly there would probably still be questions in the end but they would provide 2 or 3 minutes of diving video to go along side the 45 minutes of them visiting different car dealerships looking for answers.
