Another reason to avoid PADI for any technical diving.

I recommend that you find a real technical diving instructor, not associated with PADI.

I don't quite understand why you leap upon this as a means to single out and bash PADI. Just about every agency has a determined policy on buoyancy redundancy. Most strongly recommend it, some mandate it. PADI is no different.

Your irrational attacks on PADI are really quite droll now. You are also quite insulting to those who train, and have trained, in the PADI tech system. That's a lot of people - some good, some bad, some excellent. If you can't see the awful prejudice in your remarks, please accept that others do - and are offended by it.
