Question to New England Divers

First of all hi, my name is Philipp Seifert and I am an instructor.

The reason for posting this is that i just relocated to Fall River, MA and would like to know what the diving scene is like here. I am a tec instructor and would like to teach some Tec 40 while im here. Is there any one who would be concretely interested? If there is demand, i will be posting full details about myself as a diver/instructor before organizing/announcing any courses. I just want to probe for now

I was born and raised in Fall River. What area are you living in? I grew up the Maplewood area the south end of Fall River. There is no diving there unless it's commerical. The Mount Hope Bay is a dark and dirty body of water. Westport, MA Newport, Jamestown, Little Compton, Sakkonet Point RI were some of the places we dove. I think the closest LDS to Fall River is in Tiverton, RI. Good luck during your stay.

Thanks, im living on North Main Street at the north end of Fall River, just off of Airport Road. My girlfriend works at Giant Stride dive shop and theyre the ones ill do my diving through...having my gear shipped out in october...

That's a nice area. I've met your girl friend, she's a peach! I've been using Giant Strides for a while. If you should need a Scubapro dealer I would recommend Bob's Sea and Ski Pope Island New Bedford. That just over the bridge from New Bedford to Fairhaven. Bob's father taught me to dive long long ago. Bob has been servicing my SP regs since he was 14 he's in his 40's now! Lots of experience. I think we'll diving together sometime in the future.
