Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone had any info about mammoth lake. I heard its closed but some sites say its open. Regardless can you still dive there?
Also any dive spots in the area that you think are awesome would be very much appreciated!

AFAIK, there's no public access to Mammoth Lake. I'd love to see them find a way to reopen it. There's some cool stuff to see in that lake.

As far as awesome dive spots go, the Flower Garden Banks NMS is fantastic. Rig dives in the Gulf can be a lot of fun too. If you're looking for freshwater spots, Lake Longhorn is the closest scuba lake to Mammoth. 288 Lake and Twin Lakes are fairly close. Blue Lagoon is a little further, but it's a good spot too.
