I honestly cannot remember the last time I was asked to show a C-cared for a tank fill.Just curious - how did you get fills? Your own compressor?
Damn. In the Midwest, you can’t get fills unless they know you’re certified (you’re a regular) or you show your card.I honestly cannot remember the last time I was asked to show a C-cared for a tank fill.
Even when diving with many different Op's, I cannot remember the last time I was asked to show a card. They ask me my Cert level on the waiver forms though. Maybe they check me out online?

No issues getting fills down here in FL. I've never been asked for a c-card. Now the shops I use all know me now, but when they didn't, I was still never asked.
in florida? why am i not surprised.
could you imagine the sh*t show that would happen if someone died diving and it was found out that a dive shop gave gas to an uncertified diver?
i am betting it has happened somewhere.
