Thank you again, for your replies. It sounds like CCV resort is a good place to let him be jealous of us and start to get curious about diving. And if he decides to try, I'll be very happy, but I will not count on it.

Well, honestly, I'll be very happy if he just wants to join me on the trip and I'm more sure now that he would like it. In April I dove with this group in Cozumel and stayed at Scuba Club Cozumel, and that's a place I don't think a non diver would have so much fun. CCV sounds much more suitable for that, with the back yard just outside the door.

Thanks for sharing your stories about non diving persons, that changed their mind. Sounds like CCV is the place to do that! If someone had told me 5 years ago, that I would dive, I would just have laughed at them. I'm actually a bit claustrophobic but in a strange way, I feel fine down there. Haven't tried night diving yet, for that reason. And I would not dive into a wreck or cave (a short swim through is fine though).

Regarding how long you can dive, I can at least honestly say we are under 50 but I won't say how much:D. I wish I had started to dive earlier, but better late than never.

Maggy...let us know when you get your trip booked....I know you and your husband will have a blast at our favorite piece of heaven

I promise I'll keep you posted.

And I would like to add something, before someone say it to me:D - it's about the diving into wrecks and caves I wrote about, of couse I would never do that unless I was trained for it. What I meant was that I'm not interested in getting trained for it. Just wanted to clear that up:cool2:.

Maggy, what dates are you considering? I'll be there with a few friends (sans spouses) from 16 Jan.

Roatan Charter just announced "Snorkel Week" November 28. Here is the excerpt:

With Roatan's best snorkeling right in the front yard, our favorite dive resort has always been snorkel friendly. But the week of November 28 is going to be something special for our non-divers; your own dedicated boat, a great week of tankless activities, reef workshops, and discounts on classes and tours. Free for CoCo View guests.
