Mike: umm....welcome to scubaboard MikeMcBubbles. (are you lost?). I wanted to go underwater since I'm already an open water swimmer with a fear of deep water where I can't see the bottom - can you believe that??? So to help out my fear and feed my curiousity I decided to take the course. Plus I want to make the most of my tropical living days.


NJ Diver: I wouldn't know the hottest car out there per se, but I want to give a shout out to all the hybrids out there. These cars should be getting more promotion than they are currently getting (I was thinking commercials that give facts to get the gen public educated ex. FACT #253: Hybrids automatically shut down the gas engine below 60 km/h). With proper marketing, everyone will be wanting these cars. FWIW, would you say the new Viper, newest Bentley or H3 are some of the hottest new cars out there?

A: i like them and look forward to seeing them in bigger family sized models and giving our fuel companies a huge nasty shock after decades of them holting research into alternative fuel methods!

Q: does the colour of a car make the choice of car important? eg, my car was in the shop for repairs and i was offered a free hire car but it was red and i asked them to change the car because of the colour.

chip: i have no idea why i get the oddball posts after mine...guess i'm just lucky that way i'd have to agree with you though...those new hybrids are looking real nice and are now presenting quite a viable option over the conventional style engine...especially considering the way gas prices shot up around here over the past few months (i know...it still nothing compared to what everyone else has been paying though)

almitywife: yes color is important...my first two vehicles were both red, when it was time to buy a new car i told the dealer, i'll look at anything, BUT NOTHING RED IN COLOR! that was probably a good idea to change the color of your rental, around here red cars are perceived as fast cars and tend to draw the attention of the local police a bit more, regardless of the speed at which you are travelling.

Working in a Thai restaurant in Cornwall(UK) had to wear a real dumb uniform, that meant I couldn´t walk properly I had to waddle!I lasted 3 weeks, walked out in tears, very nasty bosses, who lived for money and ripped people off left right and center.

What is your ideal job?
