I'm not sure, but go whenever the water is nicer. Is the water less choppy in march? But then you might have to contend with the high school kids on their spring break. And also, sooner is better, so maybe november. But it might be too close to plan. So I'd stick with March. Something to look forward to. Am I reading too much into your post?

I believe that's in Ferris Bueller's Day off - Charlie Sheen saying it to Ferris' sister. SAVE FERRIS!!!

I don't like deep water. It's really on and off. When I'm in my scuba gear I have no qualms. When it's just me swimming open water with no gear (for lifeguard training) I have some issues.
