Completely unreliable. We're still finding out we were wrong about what we thought happened.

Why do even atheistic scientists think that our current climate is some kind of magical perpetual motion machine that's supposed to be as it is currently?

Because it is indeed a perpetual kind of machine. But it's not steady and the atheist scientists are wrong. It is rapidly warming up and we must do something about it.

Anybody else watching a documentary about mature right this time?

Not me.

Why do people that refuse to believe in global warming also refuse to explain why the icecap is shrinking?

Because they have no idea what's happening to the world. Sitting on a desk talking bulls*it is something anyone can do. Facing the truth is only for brave ones...

Did the Gulf clear after the oil spill or is it still full of it?

Apparently, the official story is little or no oil got loose, and it has mysteriously vanished. It has entered the food chain, but not really. So in other words, complete BS. But some fishing bans are still in place, and the shellfish (crab, shrimp) and bird populations are devastated.

What environmental disasters have occurred in your part of the world?

Less fish life for starters, getting warmer temperatures, having less rain, winters are "smoother", and generally less trees.

Do you have fires at your homeplace?

Yes occasionally, just a lot of shrubs. We do have forest on nearby mountains (skiing in 'Vegas!), which had a fire this summer, and evacuated some folks.

Any invasive (foriegn, not native) species causing trouble up your way?

Yes we got a special shipment in some of the pallets that came from the far east the Asian Longhorn Beetle, Anoplophora glabripennis (an-know-plo-fora glay-brepen-iss), is native to northeast Asia and is especially common throughout Korea, Japan and southern regions of the Peoples Republic of China.
