Hi,

I am a little confused. The strobe finder list the Ys-110 as being able to be optically fired. I read some threads here and it seems that people are using this wit the h/w ttl adapter.

Can this strobe be used with a fiber optic cable on an sp-350? I used a ys-27DX via fiber optic cable...

Thanks

Russ

Russ--My YS110-A works dandy w/ fiber optic firing and it is similiar to the YS-27DX in that regard. Welcome to ScubaBoard! // ww

A friend of mine had a YS-110 (also with a SP350) - firing the strobe with fibre optics is very unreliable in terms of getting the correct TTL exposure. That is why people went for the hard wired solution. So yes, the strobe will fire with fibre optics, just be prepared to manually set the strobe.
