Hey, I just have a quick question about new jersey mussel regulations. I know that this forum isn't exactly perfect for this question, but in the underwater hunting section it went unanswered with quite a few views. Can anyone give me the legal regulations for collecting mussels of the coast of jersey?

very close to the right section.
in the main wreck valley forum it would have been noticed sooner by many more local divers.

from njscuba.net http://www.njscuba.net/misc/bin/fwd_marine_2005.pdf

no license is required for mussels.
must be from approved waters, illegal from condemned waters. (theres a chart available)
illegal to harvest shellfish before sunrise, after sunset and on sundays.

the algol, one of the largest artificial shipwrecks, is covered with them.
