Hello, dear scuba fans,

I happened to see this exceptionally well kept Mark V 18" Diving Helmet (U.S Navy Mark V Deep Sea Antique Scuba - Vintage) and are wondering if it really is an original.

How can I tell?

I also would like to know the price. I have been on Ebay and found a lot of different prices.

This helmet is on a flea market and the seller wants 1.000 USD.

On Ebay I saw helmets for as much as 12.000 USD.

Thank you for your answers,

kind regards.

Look inside helmet for air vents. Most fakes are smooth inside. (And be certain to watch video.)
