Queensland - Australia - Becoming certified to test/repair tanks

Hey guys,

Does anyone know where i can do a course in Scuba tank repair/maintenance/testing?

I am aiming for a job next year where this would come in handy and improve my chances of getting it in the first place!

I will soon be based in Northern Queensland and with all the diving round there i would hope there is somewhere but currently i am travelling and finding it hard to locate any specific details on just how you get qualified to do this. The jobs i am applying for are outside the 1st world countries so they rules and regs will no doubt be a lot less than say Oz, but a ticket of some sort will help greatly.

Hope some one can point in a direction!

Maybe try and give these guys a call. They are based in Brisbane and have a pretty good name for gear servicing/tank inspections I think. Paul is the guys name I think and he's super helpful. I don't know if they run courses themselves but it might be a good place to start.
