Looking forward to our first trip to the Maldives, and wanted to let folks know there's another airline option from the US, besides Emirates through Dubai. We are flying QATAR through their new airport in Doha, and I've heard great things. Thankfully, I won some Business Class tickets at a Charity Auction, and it looks pretty swanky - lay flat, direct flight to Doha from Dallas / Ft. Worth, then just 5 hours to Male.

Well, they weren't free... but I'm paying just a tad more than Economy, so it is totally worth it!
