I have a question about Scubapro BC warranty coverage. The BCD warranty covers any leaks? Recently, I notice that the BCD can’t hold an air as it used to be.

After inflating BC up to maximum, BC lost about 15 percent or 20 percent air after one day. Is it a normal loss? I am not sure if it is from a pinhole, valve, or Air 2 at this moment.

Thanks for your inputs in advance.

Can't help you on the warranty issue, but how long have you had it?

Fill your tub, inflate your BC, put the BC in the tub of water and check for leaks. Should indicate any areas of leakage pretty easily.

Scubapro BCs have a lifetime warranty on the seams and a 2 year warranty on the bladder itself

And like Kracken said fill up a bath tub and check for leaks.

A common problem with SPro BC's is their dump valves a lot of time the valve needs to be tightened. Inflate your BC with soapy water and spray down the valves and see if that is it.

PS,
Get a tube of the grease used on camera housing O-rings and put a little bit on BOTH sides of the rubber washer where your BC inflation hose attaches to your BC.
You may want, also, to remove your dump valve and give it a good cleaning and inspection.

Hey,

Thanks for your inputs so far. It is just about one & half years old, so it is still under warranty I believe. I checked for loss of air by inflating the BC in filled up a bath tube. I found that air bubbles are from both shoulder dump valve and manual dump valve located on the right shoulder. I hope it would be covered under SP warranty.

Thanks …..
