Un homme de 68 ans a perdu la vie, ce mardi matin à Cerbère (Pyrénées-Orientales). Alors qu'il s'apprêtait à faire de la plongée, ce dernier a été victime d'un malaise dans l'eau.

A 68-year-old man lost his life on Tuesday morning in Cerbère (Pyrénées-Orientales). As he was about to go diving, the latter fell victim to discomfort in the water.
A 68 -year- old man lost his life on Tuesday, September 6 in Cerbère (Pyrénées-Orientales) , early in the morning. According to the first elements collected by Actu Perpignan , the victim would have suffered discomfort in the water, before drowning.

This sexagenarian was a diver and was just about to leave on an expedition, at the time of the tragedy, which occurred around 7:50 a.m., in front of the Cap Cerbère diving club.
The victim was taken out of the water in cardiorespiratory arrest, before a witness provided the first cardiac massages . A third person also had the reflex to pick up the defibrillator kit at the town hall, in vain.
Firefighters continued resuscitation attempts , but the victim could not be brought back to life and was pronounced dead at the scene an hour later. A few days ago, an 80-year-old man also lost his life after drowning, off Lydia beach, in Barcarès.
