I am planning a dive vacation not going for work. Will check with the dive operator I book with once the plans are finalised - that’s a good idea. I am wary of purchasing online because I want to try the size and fit before I buy. Hence the idea of shopping on a dive trip. With the covid situation my favourite places in APAC are no longer appealing for the cost of travel involved but Maldives looks like a place I could just spend some quality time all by myself when not diving. I do plan to walk-in to a few dive shops in Male when I am there - I just wanted some tips on which place stocks some great stuff beyond the usual small accessories.
