we're heading to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic on 10/12. recently OW & AOW certified and plan to do some diving. we're staying at Bavaro Princess and the dive shop on the resort is ScubaCaribe. has anyone dove with this company before?
we've done some research but we're really unsure what we're gonna do. leaning towards maybe 6 dives (2 on catalina island, 2 on saona island and 2 more somewhere else). has anyone made these dives and can you recommend site to check out?
also wondering about reef condition considering the hurricaine season (luckily it looks good right now).
any tips for this location for new divers?? we have done discovery dives in cozumel and bahamas a few years ago.
as for gear, we have our own BCD's and we're bringing them. should we get regs from our LDS to bring with since it's what we're familiar with? we already have to check extra luggage for our gear....
