Puerto Vallarta?

Just returned from P.V.. Dove with Chicos on first day. Won't do it again. Had to go with the Vallarta Tours group...125 of your "closest" friends. Slow, crowded, etc., etc. Dove 2 other days with Silent World and had a ball. Lorenzo (owner and dive master) did not have a group for our first day so he I drove to the south end of Banderas Bay and went spearfishing. Brought 7 back for a friend of his. We then stopped at a restaurant in the Malecon area, handed the 3 remaining fish off to a chef friend of Lorenzos and had an incredible meal accompanied by "many" Negro Modelo's. The next day, he had a snorkel trip set up with 16 folk from Washington. He arranged for two, high speed skiffs and off to the Murietta Islands we went. His son-in-law took the crowd snorkeling while he and I did a two-tank in the area. If you have a group...great, he can handle it (both Lorenzo's daughter - Marine Biologist and son-in-law) are dive masters also...if you're a solo or two he'll set up a "custom trip" and you will not be disappointed.
